The modern economic development makes it necessary of increasing the competitiveness of companies, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The solution of this problem is related to the increase of their competitive advantages and leads to strengthening of their market positions and sustainable development. One of the strategic approaches to improving competitiveness of small enterprises is their cooperation in clusters. The cluster grouping has a significant role in the functioning and growth of the small enterprise in terms of scarcity of resources and strong market competition. Important results from the integration of small and medium enterprises in cluster formations are improving the opportunities for the development of innovative processes, increased productivity and economic growth.
