Studia graeco-arabica is the journal on line of the European Research Council Advanced Grant 249431 "Greek into Arabic: Philosophical Concepts and Linguistic Bridges". It features critical articles and reviews on the transmission of philosophical and scientific texts from and into various languages (Greek, Syriac, Arabic, and Latin) from late Antiquity to the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
Submissions are invited in every area of the studies on the transmission of philosophical and scientific texts from Classical antiquity to the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and early modern times.
The articles must not exceed 10.000 words, including notes. All submissions must include an abstract. Articles can be in English, French, German, and Italian. Manuscript submission via online system.
Studia graeco-arabica follows a double-blind peer review process. Authors should avoid putting their names in headers or footers or refer to themselves in the body or notes of the article; the title and abstract alone should appear on the first page of the article.
Studia graeco-arabica is available free of charge as an Open Access journal on the Internet. Articles available in PDF format.
