- The diverse discourse on institutions seemingly makes speaking about institutions senseless, yet the author accepts the challenge, lead by the idea of attempting to present a different standpoint in the article about researching the genealogy of institutions as a social environment component, whose constitution, development and dispersion are fundamental to the genealogy of sociality. An answer to the following question is sought after: Is the “institution” phenomenon a strictly sociological one, or is it a multi variable one by default, or is the term only used to signify diverse phenomena, whose essential differentiation was misinterpreted?
